NEW MEGADETH LEAKED! (Vinnie!)

Looks like the new album has been circulating for the last few days, if you have SOULSEEK (the best music download software EVER), just add "Megadeth System" to your search or wishlist and it will eventually come up! Cool to hear Vinnie kicking out some METAL, especially at his age and after all he has done... hate to say it dosen't quite sound like the Vinnie we all know and love, but it's TIGHT.

I'll be back in a few hours to post a track or two if you guys are interested. Cheers!

TRUTH BE TOLD is probably the best track thus far on this mediocre album... some cool drum fills from Vinnie right off the bat!

When I clicked on the yousendit link above i got:

even though the music is out there with all the metal drumming, it seems like vinnie is totally holding back. probably to keep the straightness of the groove... very up and down. as far as chops go this is simple stuff compared to seven days or city nights.

By 'up & down,' i take it you mean playing style as opposed to time fluctuation, as in kickin' a heavy rock groove & then doing the approprate fills & cymb crashes. While still trying to maintain a slight bit of the Unique Vinnieness.

I would also put Neil's drumming in this 'U & D' category of drumming [notice I'm only comparing this 'U & D' thing & NOT overall player as pertaining to VC & NP!]

Yeah, I hear ya loud & clear Nikk, he's def putting on his 'hard rock hat.' But it just wouldn't be right if he threw out his total-waste-ya fusion Vinnie Arsenal in this situation, now, would it? ;c)

Randy, i meant the yousendit thing. I'm sure the torrent is just fine. ;c)
